With over a centenary of heritage and inspiration to draw from, the new CentroStile Benelli has managed to re-imagine one of the Pesaro firms most beloved motorcycles, the Leoncino. This all new design from CentroStile Benelli perfectly matches the motorcycles sharp forms with harmonious lines all while excluding the pure emotion that Benelli is famous for.
From the front fender, which proudly displays the Lion of Pesaro, on to the new front headlamp featuring cutting edge LED technology, then to the fuel tank and seat, all flowing and emphasizing the personality of this all new Leoncino.
A Benelli trademark, the beautiful steel trellis frame houses an all new powerplant from Pesaro; twin-cylinder four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 500cc made by Benelli. This all new engine is smooth and responsive, with maximum power of 48 CV (35 kW) at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 45 Nm (4,6 kgm).
Featuring wet sump lubrication, electronic injection, overhead double camshaft timing system, 4 valves per cylinder, hydraulic clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. This new Benelli power-plant has all the makings of another legendary Benelli engine.
Benelli TRK 502: a tourist soul
Freedom, adventure, passion without any limitations. This is Benelli TRK 502, a versatile and reliable bike, suitable for long distance trips but also into the city, which now we present in its definitive ABS version in white, red and black colors.
Wrapped in a traditional Benelli steel trellis frame is the all new twin-cylinder four-stroke liquid-cooled 500cc, developed by Benelli for its latest new models, with electronic injection, overhead double camshaft timing system, 4 valves per cylinder. The maximum power is 47 CV (35 kW) at 8500 rpm and the torque is of 45 Nm (4,6 kgm) at 5000 rpm, meaning perfect response in all conditions. The 6-speed gearbox is controlled by a hydraulic clutch providing effortless control.
The forms, adventurous and expressive, surprising at first glance, thanks to a huge tank, that provides a fuel capacity of 20 liters, and to headlight (mainly led) by the exciting design and a front fender able to dominate the scene.
The suspension offer maximum comfort for rider and passenger, thanks to an adjustable upside down front fork, and at the rear, a swingarm with monoshock, providing suspension travel of 135mm front and rear.
The TRK 502 offers maximum comfort in all aspects, thanks to a large front fairing and slender, dynamic hand guards, able to protect the rider in any environment.
Stability, safety and precision are the key words of this new Benelli TRK 502. Displaying this is the braking performance, thanks to the two front discs, 320 mm in diameter, and 4-piston floating caliper. The rear disc is 260 mm in diameter, and is gripped by a single piston caliper. The wheels are 17" and made from aluminum alloy. 120/70-17 and 160/60-17 tyres are mounted to complete this amazing package. Benelli TRK 502 is available also in the "off-road" version: the rims in aluminium alloy have different diameters, 19” at the front and 17” at the back.
Benelli TRK 502 will be available in white, black and red colors on the beginning of 2017.
Tornado 302: enjoyable full-fairing
Introducing the first fully faired sportsbike from Benelli since the legendary Tornado 1130, the all new Tornado 302. This exciting new motorcycle from Benelli promises an engaging and enthralling riding experience, along with the stereotypical good looks expected from the historic Pesaro firm.
Powering the Tornado 302 is an in-line two cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve DOHC Benelli engine, producing 26kW (36 hp) at 12000 rpm and 27 Nm (2.7 kgm) at 9000 rpm. The engine is mated to a smooth 6 speed gearbox that delivers a smooth change every time.
The Tornado 302 features a Benelli trademark trestle frame, able to guarantee maximum maneuverability in all conditions. Up front the bike has ø 41 mm upside down forks and on the rear swing arm, a lateral shock absorber soaks up the bumps with adjustable preload. Also of note is the 14 litre fuel tank capacity of this motorcycle.
The 17" front wheel in aluminum alloy mounts 110/70 tires and in the rear 150/60 tires. The Tornado 302 uses twin ø 260 mm floating discs with a 4 piston caliper brake at the front and a single ø 240 mm disc with a single piston caliper brake for the rear.
The Tornado 302 is due for release in the second half of 2016, with very competitive pricing and the option of ABS.
Tornado Naked T: redefining city transport
Introducing the Benelli Tornado Naked T, available in 125cc or 135cc. The new Tornado Naked T 125 & 135 has been created to win the hearts of a user that demands the utmost from their equipment, whilst still providing an unparalleled, enjoyable experience.
Powering the Benelli Tornado Naked T is a single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled 4 valves, double spark, available in 125cc or 135 cc versions and offer a maximum fuel efficiency in all driving conditions. Power and torque data, for 125cc version, are respectively 11,7 Hp (8,6 kW) at 9000 rpm and 10Nm (1.0 kgm) at 7000 rpm. Power and torque data, for 135cc version, are respectively 12,6 Hp (9,3 kW) at 9000 rpm and 10,8Nm (1.1 kgm) at 7000 rpm.
Featuring 12-inch wheels with 120/70 and 130/70 tires, meaning great agility and stability on the road. The suspension system of the Benelli Tornado Naked T is entrusted to an upside-down front fork ø 41mm and to a rear swingarm with lateral shock absorber with spring pre-load adjustment.
The braking system of Benelli Tornado Naked T guarantees maximum performance: in front there is a steel disc of ø 220 mm, in the rear a single disc of ø 190 mm. The fuel tank has a capacity of 7.2 liters.
Benelli Tornado Naked T will be available in the second half of 2016. The price, sure to be very competitive, is yet to be confirmed.
